02 The rider

The only fully programmable LED BMX in the world

Blake Hicks is a professional BMX Flatland rider. His unique skills combined with electrical knowledge drove him to create his one-of-a-kind LED Bike Show. Cirque trained and performer bred, he debuted the bike at EDC Las Vegas 2011 to 110,000 people — the video went viral and the phone hasn't stopped ringing since.

Off the floor, Blake is a burner — he runs a Burning Man camp and spends his spare time designing LED art cars for the playa.

Ambient Performance
